The nursery is covered by a subsidy from the Nicolaus Copernicus University:

Municipality subsidies for caring for children under the age of 3 in 2019

In 2019, the Municipality of Krakow will continue to provide subsidies to children under care of nurseries, children’s clubs and day carers/caretakers.

The subsidy (co-financing) will be granted only to children residing in the city of Krakow under the care of a nursery, children’s club or day carer/caretaker and will amount to:

1) PLN 1.70 per hour of childcare (subsidy for children covered by the facility – intended to reduce the costs incurred by parents/legal guardians);

2) PLN 2.40 per hour of care for a child with a disability certificate (subsidy for disabled children covered by the facility – intended for entities providing care for reimbursement of part of the costs related to the care of a disabled child).

The subsidy will be granted for 12 months during the period from 1 January to 31 December 2019.

During the grant period, entities receiving it (running of nurseries, children’s clubs, subsidies or employing of day carers/caretakers) will be required to reduce/refund part of the fees incurred by parents or legal guardians for taking care of a child (so-called Tuition fees) by an amount not lower than the amount of subsidy received from the Commune calculated according to the formula: the number of hours to provide childcare in a given month (calculated on the basis of the contract concluded with parents or legal guardians) x PLN 1.70..
